Death and Taxes
19 September 2012 17:32
All the whiffle I wrote yesterday about where to start? All now meaningless after Penna workshop.
So, to do:
1. Tell HMRC i’m a sole trader
2. Set up a bank account for use in my business
3. Find a friendly accountant (am going to investigate death & taxes in London)
4. Google networking events for sole traders & SMEs
5. Attend said events, network and get a sense of what business is out there in it, web & social media support for me
6. Make contacts & name a price that isn’t either ruinous to them or leaves me poverty stricken (have some maths to do here)
7. Take on projects and work
8. Invoice & do book-keeping
9. Remember to take time for me
Gosh, a lot of work for me in the next few months and that’s the simple version…
